The Head of the State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev declared 2022 the Year of Children. In support of the President's initiative, Bolat Nazarbayev Public Foundation "Saliqaly Urpaq (Decent generation)" decided to hold a charity event "Road to School". The purpose of the action is to help 2,000 schoolchildren from needy large families and families with disabilities with stationery. The set for one pupil will include 32 basic subjects necessary for the educational process.

The action will be held jointly with the Department of Education of Almaty and Almaty region. Let us recall that in 2020, during the pandemic, the Saliqaly Urpaq (Decent generation) Fund presented 1,000 laptops to needy families in Almaty and Almaty region so that children could learn online. Also, the Fund has been organizing an annual sports and recreation camp for orphans and children from needy families for the seventh year in a row.
