Bolat Nazarbayev Public Foundation opened new mosque "Taube" in Taldykorgan.
In 2018, construction began on the territory of the 3rd department of the city of Taldykorgan. Two years later, a new mosque with an area of 5,000 square meters opened its doors for the benefit of parishioners.
On October 23, 2020, the opening ceremony of a new mosque built at the expense of Bolat Nazarbayev Public Foundation "Saliqaly Urpaq (Decent generation)" was held in Taldykorgan.
City mosque "Taube" can accommodate up to 3 thousand people. During the construction of the mosque, modern architectural solutions were applied. The shape of the building is non-standard, with large spans without columns in the center. Taube Mosque consists of 2 floors and has two minarets 40 meters high. The dome is 18 meters in diameter and 10 meters high.

The opening ceremony was started by the Chairman of SBMK, The Supreme Mufti Nauryzbai Kajy, thanking and congratulating the residents on the new architectural structure, which would become not only an ornament of the city, but also the symbol of virtue: "On behalf of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan and on my own behalf, I would like to express gratitude to the Fund for its contribution to the development of religion. With your help, mosques and madrassas have been built, which will spread our faith among descendants for centuries."
The mosque provides all the conditions for comfortable namaz. So, duct air conditioning system is used in the building and a system of "warm floors" is installed in all prayer halls. In order to ensure the safety of believers and prevent the spread of respiratory infections in the mosque, all sanitary and epidemiological requirements are met.
"This mosque is a perfect example of the development of the city. We visited a hostel for students before the opening ceremony of the mosque. All conditions are created. Young people are the future of our country. In addition, we visited the youth center and met with representatives of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. Here, great stress is laid upon interethnic and interreligious harmony," added the Chairman of SBMK, Supreme Mufti Nauryzbai kajy.
In turn, the Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Almaty region Yermek Kelemseit noted: "There are 600 houses near the mosque. It will be visited by both the adult population and young people. It is a great gift for all of us. I believe that the new mosque will give believers the desire to follow the righteous path."
We emphasize that the Public fund "Saliqaly Urpaq (Decent generation)" pays special attention to providing assistance to believers and those in need. It was founded in 2016 by Bolat Nazarbayev.
Earlier, with his support, a mosque for 350 seats was built in Almaty region, as well as a mosque in Almaty for 1,000 people.
At the same time, in 2020, the fund allocated 150 million tenge to fight against the coronavirus. Two dozen houses were built for the families of Maktaaral district of Turkestan region who suffered from the dam break, and in the first days of the tragedy, the Fund organized the delivery of 20 tons of humanitarian cargo. Twenty children from low-income families in the affected area rested at a summer camp.
Also, as part of the support of schoolchildren from low-income families of Almaty region and the city of Almaty, the fund purchased 1,000 laptops for distance learning from its own funds.
