The Public Foundation "Saliqaly Urpaq (Decent generation)" donated 1000 laptops for children from large families
Bolat Nazarbayev's Foundation "Saliqaly Urpaq (Decent generation)" donated 1,000 laptops to children from large families. According to the head of the foundation, such gifts are of the utmost relevance now, as children are forced to study remotely due to the coronavirus pandemic. Unfortunately, not every family has the opportunity to buy a laptop on their own.
Each computer has a built-in video camera, thanks to which children can easily connect to Zoom conferences and attend online lessons.
The Director of "Saliqaly Urpaq (Decent generation)" Kassym Kassabekov noted that Kazakhstan is now going through a difficult period, which means that people must unite and support each other. Earlier, the government of Kazakhstan said that all schoolchildren should be provided with computers for online learning.
The Foundation "Saliqaly Urpaq (Decent generation)" decided to help students whose parents cannot afford to buy a computer. The director of the fund hopes that gifts are good service to children, and wished them success in learning.
Rustam Ali, the mayor of the Almaty region, thanked the fund for helping the children. Lyazzat Zhylkibayeva, head of the Education Department of Almaty, also thanked "Saliqaly Urpaq (Decent generation)". The official said that in the conditions of quarantine the first quarter will be held for children remotely and promised to give computers to every child in need.

Therefore, the management of the foundation decided to give 500 computers to the Department of Education of Almaty. The woman now has 6 children and she just lacked 2 computers, so that her schoolchildren could study normally. The woman is sure that now her children will be able to make great progress in science.
Recall that in order to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, schools in Almaty have switched to online learning.
At the moment, we are actively working to provide 77,000 teachers and schoolchildren in the city with computers at the expense of the budget. Most of the equipment has already been issued.
